If any device is not connected to the Mac, it is not turned on,
it is not in the mode of managing device, or it is not reported to the Mac yet that device is plugged,
then the manager will display the pop-up information and the error message as below:

|
There are some failure messages starting with [Failed to recognize device ... ]
in recognizing device. Meeting failure message in recoginzing device,
users need to take measures as below:
- Follow instructions on the [Device recognition] page and try again.
- If still fails, close and restart the manager and try again.
- If still fails, send email to Technical Support (support@sena.com) with
diagnostic logs which are created right before
and right after pressing the [NEXT >] button at the
[Device recognition] page.

Some Macs on OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, 10.9 Mavericks may have trouble in recognizing Sena bluetooth devices which are not activated yet. In this case, the manager will display the pop-up information and the error message as below:

|
Facing this problem, users need to take measures as below:
- Try again by pressing the [NEXT >] button on the [Device recognition] page.
- If still fails, activate this device on another Mac or Windows PC first and try again here.
If anotther Mac or Windows PC are not available, send email to
Technical Support (support@sena.com) with
diagnostic log which is created by selecting the
[Menu Bar > Help > Diagnostic Log] menu and specifying log file name.

If the recognized device is different from the selected device,
the manager will display popup error message screen as below(lower than device manager v2.0):

Pressing the [OK] button on the error message screen opens the
[Welcome] page.
